The team at Cointreau have come up with a festive twist on the classic Margarita – and it looks simple but fabulous once served.

Serves 1

Ingredients
30 mlCointreau
50 mlBlanco Tequila
20 mlFresh Lime Juice
6 dropsAromatic Bitters

Method
Make a cinnamon-sugar rim on your glass. Pour all ingredients directly into a co*cktail shaker. Shake vigorously before straining. Serve in a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and enjoy.

Christmas Stocking Spritz

This Christmas co*cktail recipe is from London EDITION Hotel’s barman Arnaud Volte, who thinks brandy is the perfect festive aperitif.

Serves 1

Ingredients
35ml Bardinet French Brandy
10ml Orange Liqueur (such as Cointreau)
5ml Caramel Syrup (such as Monin)
Very cold Champagne

Method
Stir ingredients for 10 seconds with some ice (except the champagne) and strain into a champagne flute. Top with champagne. Pairs well with olives, roasted meats, hard cheeses and vegetables.

Mistletoe Mule

Serves 1

Ingredients
25ml of your favourite Spiced Rum
50ml Mulled Wine
London Essence Ginger Beer

Method
Stir the rum and mulled wine together and top with the London Essence Ginger Beer. Serve in a rocks glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Keep chilled with large ice cubes.

Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini

The team at Mr Black have given us an updated Christmas twist on a Boutique Handbook favourite – the Espresso Martini. And it’s Chocolate Orange flavoured.

Serves 1

Ingredients
45ml Mr Black Coffee Amaro
30ml Vodka
30ml Fresh Espresso
15ml Giffard Creme De Cacao

Method
In a co*cktail shaker add all ingredients, as well as a fresh orange peel. Add ice and hard shake. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with grated chocolate. This method of shaking with fresh citrus peel is called a ‘Regal Shake’.

20ml Sipsmith vodka
15ml Grand Marnier
5ml Elderflower Liqueur
Searcys Selected CuvéeBrut

Method
Build all the ingredients in a champagne flute and top up with Searcys Selected CuvéeBrut. Top with a 23ct edible gold leaf (optional).

Ingredients
35ml King of Soho London Dry Gin
15ml Grand Marnier
50ml Pear Juice
4 drops Madagascan Vanilla Extract

Method
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a co*cktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel and a cinnamon stick.

Serves 2

Ingredients
60ml Roundwood Cask Aged Sloe Gin
60ml Amaretto
Prosecco or Sparkling Wine

Method
Mix the Sloe Gin and Amaretto together with ice. Once ice cold, strain into a flute glass and top with the fizz. Garnish with a twist of lemon.

Not keen on Amaretto? Try topping your glass of Prosecco with a splash of Sloe Gin for a Royale Fizz instead.

90ml Hot Coffee
15ml Unsweetened Coconut Milk
15ml Simple Syrup (or alternative sweetener)

Method
Build all the ingredients in a heat resistant glass and stir well to combine.Garnish with whipped cream and cocoa powder.
