Nearly every streaming service has announced a price hike this year, including Disney Plus, Hulu, Max, Paramount Plus, Prime Video, Peacock and most recently Sling TV, but luckily there are Black Friday deals galore available for all of these services. Some of these price rises came in the way of introducing new ad-supported tiers by making subscribers pay extra to avoid commercials, which is probably why we're seeing a lot of the discounts for these plans.
These new cheaper plans are much more limited in terms of features like being able to stream simultaneously on multiple devices, download and watch in 4K with Spatial Audio, but they offer a great way to get a subscription for less. All the offers I've seen for these services are for ad tiers, aside from Paramount Plus. So, if you can't stand commercials, then that might be the best Black Friday streaming deal for you.
Despite The Serpent Queen having a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating, the show was canceled after two seasons in October. The Starz Original series is still worth streaming though, and if you'd like to then now's a great time to get a cheap deal to the service.
There are four great Black Friday streaming deals to choose from for Starz, the best of which is a limited-time offer from Starz itself that gets you 84% off a three-month subscription. This offer has also recently been reduced from $9 to $5, making it even more tempting. Make sure to also take a look at the subscription add-ons and bundles available in the guide above too.

One of the next biggest heavyweight title matches coming up is Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 on December 12. The fight will conclude another year of boxing and if you want a front row seat to the ring, then you'll need a subscription to the home of boxing.
DAZN has Black Friday deals running in both the US and UK at the moment, but you'll have to be quick if you want to save on your next sports streaming subscription, because both offers expire tomorrow.

There's only one day to go until the new Disney animated movie Moana 2 is released in cinemas across the UK, and while we don't yet know when the film will be added to Disney Plus, it could be that we might see it sometime in early 2025.

It's one day until Black Friday, and while I'm not expecting many extra streaming deals between now and Cyber Monday, only a fool would let their guard down. As always, I'll update this page with any new deals that arise today, and I'll keep adding tips to make the most of the deals that are around.
Black Friday Netflix deals are nowhere to be seen, but there are some bundle offers with the service lumped in worth knowing about. In the UK, Sky is the only streaming service I've seen throwing in a Netflix subscription for free.
There are three great Sky Black Friday bundles that include Netflix when you sign up for a 24 month contract with Sky Stream, its streaming device. The options vary from whether you want just Sky TV and Netflix; Sky TV, Sky Sports and Netflix; or Sky TV, Sky Cinema and Netflix.

Have you heard of Taylor Sheridan's newest rural American drama hit on Paramount Plus yet? Landman has become an instant on the service, drawing in 5.2 million views for the pilot episode. That's smaller than the 7.4 million that the Yellowstone prequel 1923 attracted when it premiered, but it is no less impressive.
If that's piqued your curiosity and you would like to stream three more Taylor Sheridan series, plus another gritty drama with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, then you'll want to consider signing up for this great Paramount Plus Black Friday deal.

Another one of my favorite Black Friday streaming deals in the US is for Max. Like the record low $0.99 bargain for Hulu, the service has a returning ridiculously good Black Friday discount that brings the price of its with ads plan to just $2.99 a month.
If that's caught your attention, then you might like to also know about some of the best Max movies you can stream, including this year's A24 horror hit I Saw the TV Glow. This pink neon-washed film has had such an impact on so many people. From making some revisit their favorite TV show from the 90s to others declaring it their favorite A24 movie of the year, it's a phenomenal film worthy of being the reason why you snap up this bargain.

Okay, okay, I'll slow down with all the Black Friday streaming deals (for now). Lets instead take a look at what's been announced so far: I couldn't possibly ignore the return of Hulu's record low price of $0.99 a month offer, so that's definitely at the top of my Black Friday wish list if I lived in the US.
The only other Black Friday streaming offer that can come close to that low price (and that isn't a subscription add-on) is Peacock's $19.99 offer for an annual 'Premium' account, which works out to just $1.66 a month. Decisions, decisions. While these are the cheapest discounts I've seen, read this latest article to find out about the one Black Friday streaming deal I'm recommending to friends.
Unfortunately, Apple TV Plus doesn't tend to offer discounts let alone Black Friday deals and while I wasn't expecting any to be announced this year, there is a way to get a free subscription. Starting November 29, you can get an Apple gift card up to $200 for its annual Black Friday shopping event.
That means if you're in the market for a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch or AirPods, then you'll be eligible for the gift card and what better way to spend it then on an Apple TV Plus subscription! Hello, streaming deals connoisseurs! We've seen a steady, uh, stream of new deals launching over the last few days, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another services or two jump on the bandwagon today. I'll update this page with anything new I see, and more recommendations of what to watch.
Max's catalog is packed full of great content. You're probably already aware of some of the best Max shows such as The Penguin, The White Lotus and The Last of Us, but there are plenty of movies on offer too.
The service is home to a large collection of films, including from Warner Bros. Discovery, A24, The Criterion Collection, Studio Ghibli as well as other studios that it licenses titles from. If you were tempted by Max's Black Friday deal, then here are three great movies with over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes to watch first.

Paramount Plus is another streaming service with some brilliant Oscar-worthy movies to choose from. My personal favorite is last year's Past Lives, a gorgeous movie about two childhood friends who grow apart but still long for their relationship of the past.
At the moment, in the US, you can get an annual plan with Showtime for $119.99 instead of $155.88. It's a standard bundle price but a good enough saving to sign up for an annual subscription.
For those in the UK, three months of Paramount Plus is on offer right now for £11.97 instead of the regular £23.97. Not bad!
New streaming bundle deal alert! I've just spotted that you can get Starz and BritBox for a 66% discounted monthly rate. If you're considering signing up to either service's Black Friday deals (Starz is offering a three-month subscription for just $9, while you can get two-months of BritBox for only $2.25 as a Prime Video subscription add-on), then this is a great saving on both.
While this bundle deal isn't necessarily a Black Friday discount, it's a limited-time offer on a new bundle that was only launched in October 2024. It brings together a great mix of Starz Originals like Outlander (season 7 part 2 came out last Friday), Power and Three Women, alongside hours of content from BBC Studios and ITV.

Did you miss yesterday's announcement from Peacock? The service has finally launched its first Black Friday deal of 2024, and it's a doozy. If you've ever wanted to gain access to Peacock's entire catalog for a fraction of its usual price, then this is the deal for you.
The best part of the deal is that it will last you a whole year, so you won't have to worry about renewing your subscription again until next year's sales period rolls around again. It's also for the service's 'Premium' tier, which means you won't have to put up with ads, you'll be able to download movies and shows, as well as stream live games.

Bad news, Sling TV fans: the YouTube TV rival is getting a big price hike that'll take effect on December 20. If that's not the Christmas present you were hoping for (and we're sure it's not given that it's the first price increase the service has had since 2022), then what better time to dodge the bounce in costs by taking advantage of one of its current discounts available?
Both the Orange (its cheaper offering) and Blue plans are set to go up in price by $5.99 each, but luckily new and returning subscribers can get either of those subscription packages for 50% off. While this bundle offer isn't a Black Friday deal, it's a great time to take advantage of it in light of yesterday's announcement.

With Paramount Plus and Starz both announcing new Black Friday streaming deals yesterday, you might be wondering whether it's still worth signing up for either through Prime Video's subscription add-on offer and if that's the case, I'm here to tell you which one is the better pick.
Instead of signing up for the Prime Video add-on offer, I'd recommend going straight to the Paramount Plus site as you can save a much larger 88% on a two-month subscription (compared to just 62% off two-months). For Starz, you're better of going for the Prime Video add-on deal that saves you a further 3% on three-months than signing up directly.

Do you have a favorite streaming service? I hop between most of them depending on what's available, but I know quite a few people who only subscribe to one at once.

It's back! We last saw this incredible saving during Black Friday 2023, so it's great to see Max bringing back one of its lowest discounted prices. Starting today, those in the US can sign up for six-months of its ad-supported tier with a 70% discount.
I wouldn't sleep on this deal if I was based in the US. Not only does it get you access to the streaming service that's home to my favorite show of 2024 so far The Penguin, but it also means you might be able to watch new returning series like The White Lotus season 3 when it gets a release date next year.
You have until next Monday (December 2) before this deal expires, so be quick to make sure you don't miss out on streaming the best Max shows and best Max movies for less. This discount may not be for a streaming service subscription, but it is technically a streaming deal. Amazon's Black Friday sale is offering 50% off Prime Video movies and shows to buy through its online store in the UK until December 2nd.
The deal is set to go live this Friday (November 29th), but we're already seeing great discounts for some massive titles available, including Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, HBO's House of the Dragon, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, MaXXXine, All Of Us Are Strangers and more.
It's also not just movie or show purchases that will catch your eye in the Prime Video Black Friday sale, there's plenty of gold to be found in the rental section too for titles like The Fall Guy, A Quiet Place: Day One and Bad Boys: Ride of Die.

While Netflix isn’t likely to have many, if any, offers over Black Friday, the 26% monthly discount on Sky’s Sky TV and Netflix bundle in the UK could be enough to entice you to resubscribe at just £19 a month.

The second season of Arcane on Netflix has been a massive hit, scoring 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and we called it "an animated legend" in our review. It's just a shame that this is the end is here after two seasons, though the creators told us that this was always the plan.

Sling TV has its usual Black Friday deals, including 50% off its Orange or Blue plans, or the combo of them both, for a month. The combo is the juiciest option – that gets you multiple streams at once, and a broad range of channels that includes ESPN in 4K, NBC, Fox and ABC (though this can vary by market).
That deal is available to new or returning customers, though new customers can also save an extra $5 when taking out an add-on subscription to Starz, Paramount Plus with Showtime, AMC Plus, or Max.
Sling TV Orange and Blue plan package: was $60 for one month now $30 a month at Sling
One thing to keep your out for this year is Hulu Black Friday deals. Traditionally, the streamer has had some good deals – in last year's sales, you could get a year of Hulu for $12 – yes, just $0.99 per month.
That was for the ad-supported tier, of course, but it's a lot of great show and movies for not a lot of money. I'm hoping to see the same deal this year – we should find out within the next week.

We haven't seen any Black Friday deals on Max yet – though you can get it in its usual great-value bundle with Hulu and Disney Plus, details of which are in the article above – but if offers do arrive, it's definitely one to consider if you're a Christmas movie fan.

Lots of people pick up Amazon Prime subscriptions at this time of year, to get free and fast delivery on those Black Friday purchases (and maybe even some extra discounts) – and that means you get access to Prime Video, which is perfect for movie lovers,
At the TechRadar Choice Awards 2024, Prime Video won the award for being the Best Streaming Service for Movies, and November has been a perfect example of why. The service added 170(!) movies this month alone – you can read everything new on Prime Video in November 2024 for the full list.
But if you want an easy place to start, we've picked out three new Prime Videos movies with huge critical acclaim to start with, including one with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
In the UK, the Sky TV and Netflix bundle for £19 is one of the most interesting deals to grab. I've been enjoying the latest season of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix, and my movie watchlist is especially full of good stuff right now, including a movie many consider to be a big Oscar contender, Emilia Perez.

For those who enjoyed Barbie, Frances Ha is worth checking out as an early collaboration between the movie's behind-the-scenes creative duo Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach. It stars Gerwig, and has an early performance from Adam Driver, too.
Glengarry Glen Ross remains a great, blistering ensemble piece that's always gripping to watch. Point Break is such a fun and hardcore action movie with some amazing real stunts, and Pain & Gain is an overlooked dark crime comedy.
If you decide to take Paramount Plus up on its offers of a cheap subscription, and you're looking for a winter movie binge, let me recommend a rewatch of the Mission: Impossible movie series. Most of them are great – or at least fun – and if nothing else, it's such an interesting flow through the style of movies from the mid-’90s to today.
You've got a twisty Brian de Palma betrayal thriller with a couple of incredibly famous and gripping scenes; you've got John Woo taking it in a weird and stylized direction; you've got JJ Abrams directing an all-time great villain performance from Philip Seymour Hoffman; you've got Pixar director Brad Bird bringing some amazing visual spectacle; then the movies 'settle' into being delivery vehicles for the coolest locations and biggest stunts you've ever seen.
And the new one's coming next year to top it all off, with a trailer that pays homage to all the previous movies, so now's the perfect time to catch up.

In the UK, one of the early Black Friday deals is getting Sky TV to stream and Netflix in a bundle for £19 per month. It's the ad-supported version of Netflix, but this is a great bundle when you bear in mind that Sky has all the HBO shows that appear on Max in the US, as well as Sky's own offerings, and support for watching live channels easily.
And if you add the Sky Cinema package to this in the future, you get Paramount Plus included for no extra cost as well. Building up a Sky package can be expensive, but the amount of great stuff you get out of it is very hard to argue with…

It's still early days for Black Friday streaming deals, as more discounts for the biggest services aren't likely to arrive until closer to the day itself based on what I've seen in previous sales.
In the past, the best discounts have been announced for big services in the US like Hulu and Paramount Plus, which from what I'm seeing so far could make a return in 2024. Paramount Plus has already announced Black Friday savings in the UK, so the US might hopefully follow, and Hulu has brought back some introductory savings so it's looking likely.
Other services that tend to crop up with deals around this time of year include Max, Shudder, Sling TV, Peacock, Starz and Apple TV Plus. As for Prime Video, I don't expect we'll see discounts for the service itself, but you can already find great savings for subscription add-ons, so there is always the chance for surprise deals!
One of the biggest trends I've seen in the streaming landscape is the rise of bundling services. With so much consolidation in the space, many businesses have looked to combine their streaming services with others as a way to attract more subscribers.
That means that there are a lot of streaming bundles available. The biggest new offering being the Disney Plus, Hulu and Max mega bundle, which saves you 38% on the cost of buying each separately. Of course, there are plenty of variations of Disney bundles around, with the Disney Plus, Hulu with Live and ESPN Plus being another classic.
That bundle in particular has a limited time offer available that's not directly related to Black Friday, but came off the back of a price hike that was rolled out in October in the US. Make sure to check our Black Friday streaming deal hub for more details.
In the UK, we're seeing great bundle offers from Sky. The service is offering a 26% monthly discount on its Sky TV and Netflix bundle, which gives you access to the world's best streaming service as well as over 300 channels on Sky TV.
Will Netflix have Black Friday deals? I wouldn't count on it. As one of the biggest paid-for streaming services available globally, Netflix doesn't have a hard time with attracting new customers and because of this, it doesn't tend to offer discounts.
Looking at previous Black Fridays and Cyber Mondays, Netflix hasn't offered deals and given this track record I suspect that this year will be no different. The best way to get a Netflix saving is through a bundle, so be sure to keep an eye out for any savings that include the service, such as with internet or pay-TV providers.
Black Friday is a great time to bag a saving on the best streaming services, and the good news is that you don't have to wait until the big sales day arrives because there are already plenty of early offers floating around to take advantage of.

To give you an idea of what I'm seeing, the biggest deals I've found so far are for Prime Video subscription add-ons in the US, such as Paramount Plus, Starz, AMC Plus, Discovery Plus, MGM Plus and more. There are in fact 20 Prime Video subscription add-ons available with up to 75% off each.
There are also deals for sports streaming services like DAZN and ESPN Plus. The former is offering to slash the price of any of its plans in half, while the latter is letting you get 12-months for the price of 9-months.
In the UK, the best steaming Black Friday deal that I've seen so far is for Paramount Plus, which gets you three-months for 50% off. Meanwhile, DAZN is also offering a 33% discount on this side of the pond as is Sky as part of a Currys exclusive offer when you buy a Sky Glass TV.
